Listen Queue Support

Listen Queue keeps spoken audio on your iPhone or iPad and remembers exactly where you stopped.

Adding audio

  1. Paste a link. Tap +, paste a direct link to an audio file, and tap Download.
  2. Share from Safari. Touch and hold the audio file’s link, tap Share, and choose Listen Queue. If it is not listed, tap More and turn it on. The download starts the next time you open the app.
  3. Add a file. Tap +, then Choose an Audio File… to add audio from Files or iCloud Drive. Audio received by AirDrop can be opened with Listen Queue directly.

Downloads continue if you close the Add screen, switch apps, or lock your phone. Supported formats are MP3, M4A, AAC, MP4 audio, WAV, AIFF, CAF, and FLAC.

Common questions

Why was my link rejected?

The link must begin with https:// and point to the audio file itself. A webpage that contains a player is usually not the direct link; touch and hold the audio link on that page and share or copy that instead.

Why did a download fail?

Check your connection and try opening the link in Safari. The server may require a login, block downloads, or return a webpage instead of audio. Files larger than 1 GB are not accepted.

Why is there no cover art or chapter list?

Listen Queue shows the cover art and chapters embedded in the file. If the file does not contain them, the audio still plays normally.

Will it remember my place?

Yes. Your position is saved as you listen, and the item you were playing is ready when you reopen the app. Items that are finished, or nearly finished, start again from the beginning.

How do I free up space?

Swipe left on an item in the library and tap Delete. This removes its audio and cover art from your device.
